spiritual counselling
an introductory workshop

bryan craig
Everyone has a spiritual aspect which is at the heart of their lifeÑwhether they choose to recognise it or not! While basic counselling can be extremely valuable as a tool to help others, if you want to heal the whole person you must embrace its spiritual aspects.
In this workshop you will learn how spiritual counselling marries established counselling techniques to a deeper, holistic understanding of human beings and their makeup. You will examine some of the major factors in spiritual counselling, including the effect of our own actions, the law of karma, the principle of reincarnation, the major issue of individual responsibility and the process of spiritual learning and personal growth.
You will be introduced to these issues in an environment that will encourage you to experiment and participate. The workshop will demonstrate the principles of spiritual counselling through comparative case studies. The workshop style is informal, relaxed and participative, and participants will have the opportunity to reflect on, and contribute from, their own personal and professional experience.
This workshop is recommended if you are in the position of supporting others in life's crises and problems, whether informally as a friend or formally in your job or chosen profession. It will be especially valuable to people working in the helping and caring professions, counsellors, alternative practitioners and psychic consultants.
Admission £30 (concessions £20)
