being -
the power of the present

your self as your source of joy

john gloster-smith

The workshop will explore some of the subtle ways in which the mind works to sabotage and hide our real selves. It will also help you find that genuine and lasting contentment, which lies within you and which you can find when you let go of the self-limiting beliefs created by the mind. You will develop a greater understanding of the power of the present and learn practical ways to let go of ineffective ways of being. We will cover

How we get in the way of our own progress

How we get caught up in the machinations of the mind

Releasing ourselves from our dramas and attachments

Ways to connect with our inner centre

Realising the power of being 'in the Now'
Developing a lasting sense of inner contentment

Awareness of our inner Knowing

Staying 'connected' amid the pressures of everyday life This workshop is recommended for people with busy lives, those who feel they 'have no time' and individuals who are really keen to sustain their progress on the spiritual path. Real challenges come some time after we have started out on our path, when we encounter the gremlins within. It is then that we need inner understanding and technique to sustain us.

Admission £50 (concessions £30)
